Eston climbed down the window easily remaining me, I was up there staring at the floor fearfully.
"Comeone I wont let you fall" Eston stretched his hand towards me. I put one leg after the other then I heard Eston chuckling.
"What?" I glared at him.
"Nice view" he laughed.
"I look down and realized I was wearing skirt.
"What did you see you jerk?" I hit his shoulder and finally jumped down.
"Its colour red, can I see more?" he said still laughing and covering his mouth.
"Shut up you pervert" I hit his arm, he ran away laughing while I went after him.
"Where is your car?" I asked Eston as we walk hand in hand to the Eston's garden with the cold breeze carresing our skin and ruffling our hair..
"I left it at home, my little sis Ruby helped me out of the house." he said.
"Wao how is Ruby doing?" I asked.
"She is fine, she likes you alot and pushed me out of the house to come see you"
"Wao Ruby is so nice" I said.
"Yea and troublesome, one she is around she disturbs to the last but once she leaves you start missing her" he chuckled. I couldnt help but laugh.
"Wao I'll like to meet Ruby" I told him.
"You will soon" he smilled. "and bent infront of me.
"Eston what are you doing?" I asked.
"Ping back, ping back" he said raising himself up and down. I laughed and hop on his back with great force.
"Ouch!" he exclaimed.
"Run Rock, Run Rock, Run! Run! Run!" I shouted laughing and to my surprise Eston started running with me on his back like I weighed nothing.
When we got to the Eston's garden I jump down from his back and he rested on his kneel panting.
"I didnt get the chance to wish you a lovely christmas" he said facing me. I smilled
"Its better that you came to keep me company" I told him, he didnt reply after that, he was quiet and looked nervous.
"Eston are you alright?" I asked.
"Yea, I wanted to ask you for something" he said raking his hand through his hair then grab my wrist with the other hand.
"What is it Eston?" I asked shakily.
"Look around Janelle" he said, I gently turned me head looking around the beautiful garden.
"Janelle" he called in a low tone and I turn my head to face him.
"This place..." he said shakily running his hands through his hair again and i noticed he always does that when he's scared or nervouse. "This is the place i fell inlove with you" he finally said.
And my inside trembled.
The time has come.
"You remember when I first brought you here? That was when my heart started beating for you" he added with his ocean blue eyes fixed on mine.
"Ahh" I tried to look away.
"Janelle" he turned me to face him.
"Will you accept me now? Please give me the pleasure of dating you, pleae be my girlfriend" he said and I felt weak like I was going to slip to the ground. I didnt say a word my mouth glue sturbornly together not like I have something to say if am allowed.
"Janelle please dont keep quiet" he pleaded.
"Am sorry Eston, I dont know what to say, am scared"
"Dont you trust me love?" he asked dissapointed and his voice sounded like he was going to cry.
"Am sorry Eston" I said trying to walk away but he grab my wrist and pulled me to himself wrapping his arms around my waist with his head bent on the crook of my neck.
"I love you.. please love me too" he said, his breath tickled my neck. Am scared so scared.
"Am sorry Eston" I got out of his hold and took to my heels running home and crying all the way without looking back.
Days pass by and I didnt hear a word from Eston, not even a phone call or a text. It kept me worried.
I tried his line several time but it was not reachable no matter how many times i try. All this times without him made me realize how much I love him.
It was two days to new year and school would be resuming soon, And yet no call from Eston even when I went to his white house I ddint see him there. I just wish I see him in school safe and sound.
Ivy called and said she would be returning home soon, I told her about Eston's proposal and she adviced me to accept him if I truly love him. I guess using her advice would be nice.
I dresssed ina jumper suit ready to go shopping with my parent for the things I would be needing in school next year.
After applying some makeup I was brushing my hair when my phone started ringing, I picked up the phone and glared the screen it was an unknown number just as I was about to pick up the call it stopped ringing and a new message came in from the same number. The message I read got me close to fainting.
"Dear Janelle.
This is Eston's littles sis Ruby.
I like to let you know Eston is leaving for the states.
And it hurt to think you are the cause of his leaving.
He would be starting a new life there till he recovers from heart break.
If you really do love him, you can fix things.
Meet him at the airport before the flight leaves.

My lips quivered, my heart raced and broke, tears rushed down my cheeks and I felt like the whole world was crashing on me.
Eston leaving? Because of me? Was he that hurt? Can I handle it without him? I sat on my bed crying as everything that happened right from the day I met him flooded into my head.
From the day he first kissed me, and saved me from been hit by a truck, down to the day he save me from school accusations and suspension.
He took me to the Eston's garden and made all my pains go away.
He took me to the cinema were I fell asleep on his shoulder.
And at the school park he fell asleep on my shoulder and on my laps .
He took me to Eston's garden and confessed his love to me then asked me to be his.
I turned him down.
I ran away leaving him there all alone.
*sobs* And he said he loved me.
Wasnt I stupid?
Everything that happened with Eston came fresh to my head.
How can I let him go? If I do who will call me noodles? Who will tease me? Who will wink and smirk at me? Who will trust me to fall asleep peacefully on my shoulder? Who will be my Rock?
"Eston No!!!" I cried and took my purse rushing out of the room.
"Janelle where are you going?"
"What is wrong with you?" my confused parent asked. I had no respond I just dashed out of the house without shutting the door.
"Taxi! Taxi airport" I yelled, a taxi stopped infront of me and I immediately hop in and kept dialing Eston's number but it was not reachable, I called Ruby her line was switched off.
"Driver hurry up" I growled.
"Calm down miss, or you come and drive yourself" he said harsly, I didnt say another word I just kept sobbing and scattering my hair with my eyes out of the window.
Every moment with Eston was something I couldnt ignore, I used to wonder the meaning of the feelings I get when ever am around him but this few days he has not been around made me realize what it is.
Love is the feeling. Now I know.
I paid the driver and took to my heels running to the airport hoping to catch up with Eston.
"Stop miss your passport and ticket" the security man stopped me.
"Sir please please am not flying I just need to see someone in there" I said.
"You cant miss, not without your papers"
"Sir.." I called crying "Please..." I pleaded just then I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I turned around to see a tall huge man standing beside me.
"From miss Ruby" he stretched a file to me. I glared at the things inside the file and surprisely it contained my passport and all I'll be needing for the flight. I looked up surprisely but the man was no longer there, he was gone.
"Now you have your papers can you submit it?" the security asked.
"Yea" I quickly handed them to him.
"You may go" he said and without another word I rushed in searching for the one I love.
"Am for this flight ma, can you direct me please?" I said to a female attendant I ran into.
She collected the papers and glared the them for a while then looked up to me.
"You are going to the US?" she asked.
"Ehh..no..ehh..yes.. yes" I stammered.
"Huh?" she glared at me like I had no Idea of what I was saying "but this flight left about five minutes ago"
"What?" my eyes flew open. I felt like dying.
"Mam..this flight..mam..what do I do?" tears began to form in my eyes again.
"Am sorry you have to book another flight"
"But I need to see him before he leaves" I yelled, some people turn around to stare.
"Sorry I dont know what you are talking about, I wish I could help you but learn to control your voice next time" she said and walked away.
"Mam... Please you have to help me" I muttered to myself crying "I need to see him" I cried and took out my phone dialing his number again and yet it was switched off, I couldnt reach him not even Ruby.
Is this real? I was never going to see Eston again? Why did I bring myself such trouble? I wish I was never born.
I fell behind a counter and cried my eyes out. This is hard for me to handle. Too hard.
Rock...*Sobs* please...come.
"Noodles" I heard behind me and my heart almost stopped pumping. Only one person in the planet would come me that. Eston Baxter.
I turned around and there he stood wearing a black hoodie and a blue jean with black converse, his black bag clung to his shoulder and his hair was spiked up out of his face. This is not a dream is it? Eston Baxter?
I wiped my eyes and blinked severally just to be sure I was not dreaming and ofcourse its him. Standing there looking breath taking and handsome like a greek god. So this is the guy I was about to let go? Am so stupid.
"You never told me you planed travelling noodles" he took a step towards me and just immediately his sweet scent hit my nostrils, strawberry flavour mixed with fresh air.
"Eston?" I called and without a second thought I rush to him and wrapped my hands around his waist hugging him. I held him so thight like I was preventing him from evaporating into the sky.
Now I know. Love is the feeling.
