I ran to my room, picked up my phone and dialled Ivy's number. she picked at the third ring.
"Hey Ivy" I yelled all excited.
"Dont hey me bad friend" she feigned annoyance.
"Come on Ivy am sorry about last night, I felt so pissed up thats why i left"
"And you are just calling me now"
"Look Ivy am sorry, I promise i wont do it again"
"Promise?"
"Yea girly promise"
"Fine, so how far hope you are coming to the party tonight? Rememeber its val" she sounded so excited.
"Yea so I want you to get your cute ass down here and make me hot" i chuckled. I could hear here loud laughter from the other end.
"Alright girly am coming to make you look hot"
"Good so get your stuff here we are using your ride"
"I'll be there, bye girly" she said and ended the call.
"Get up Janelle" Someone tap my shoulder roughly.
"oh God" I murmured rubbing my eyes.
"Get up now" I felt the tap sharp this time, i let my eyes open and there was my mum.
"come on mum"
"Your friend is waiting downstairs" she said.
"Oh thats Ivy, I'll be down soon mum"
"Am going out with your dad and we wont be back till night so take good care of the house" she said and left.
"get in here Ivy" I shouted and the door swung open, Ivy got in dressed in blue jean and yellow top and carrying her bag that seem heavy, I hugged her and collected the bag putting it on the couch.
"water" she ordered and lay flat on the bed, I ran downstairs at once and came back with a glass of water, she gulp them down in a hurry and fell back to the bed.
"You look tired girly" I sat beside her.
"Yea but forget about been tired, go get a shower we cant be late for the party.
I told Ivy about the kiss with Ryan and all she did was reminding that he's not but a player and warned me to be careful especially with the galaxy girls and the REDS.
Ivy and I dressed in red flora gown with white heels and our hair was both pulled up in a fine pony tail make us look like twins and ofcourse beautiful once.
"Make sure you get a date tonight" Ivy stood infront of the full length mirrow applying more red lip gloss on her lips. And my mind immediately flew to Ryan since the kiss i havent been able to purge him out of my memory. Why me?.
"Ivy" i called slowly.
"Ehhh" she replied still facing the mirrow.
"don you think Ryan will ask me out?"
"Oh God am tired of this Ryan's talk ok, but babe dont just get your hopes to high" she faced the mirrow again smilling.
"Thats enough Ivy you are taking too much time to dress up"
"Chill I told you am getting a date tonight so make sure you get one too" she said chuckling.
The party was held in school and it was a huge blast, everywhere looked beautiful painted in red and white, with red banner that read "ITS VAL" boldy written in white, music sounded loudly from the two huge speakers that stood close to the DJ who has this rough hair like an ex gang, he was dancing with an ear phone plunged to his ear, I couldnt help but laugh at his funny dance steps.
"You made it" I heard that voice i always recognize, I turn around and ofcourse it was Ryan dressed in a black suit and blue bow tied with white glittering shoes. He's cute.
"Yea" I smilled.
"Have fun then" he pat my shoulder and left.
"Would you like to play another game tonight?" Eston came from behind me smirking dressed exactly like Ryan, I rolled my eyes and ignored his comment. I hate this guy and i hate the fact that he's handsome.
"comeon" Ivy pulled me along with her, we took our seat infront of the wide hall with a large spaced stage.
"Find a date Janelle" Ivy whispered.
"What?"
"I just found my date ok" I'll be back she said walking away. this girl is something else.
"Attention everyone" A beautiful girl shouted from the stage dressed in a short red gown that came down to her knees.
"Its Val" the boy beside her dressed in suit continued. "Val is a day to show love, A day to repair broken love, and also a day to carry the flag of Happy Ever After all round the world" he announced. Everyone clapped and cheered and for a while i thought if Ryan and I would carry the flag of Happy Ever After someday.
"so our first step for this program is finding love" the guy continued "Men on suit step up" he added and about twenty guys went up to the stage all dressed in suit including Ryan, Eston, Declan and Stiles. They all look charming.
"Go to the crowd, pick a girl of your choice, dance with her and she is all yours and after that you go ahead and carry the flag of Happy Ever After"
My heart raced hearing that, am i scared? No, no i shouldnt.
Many guys came down to the stage picking the girl of their choice, the girls would scream in delight some frowned but most of them were happy and the crowd couldnt stop chearing.
Ryan was first among the REDS to step down from the crowd and my heart skipped and raced when i saw him walking towards my direction. Is my wish finally coming true?
